From today, the Petersburg Exchange calculates and publishes an indicator of wholesale styrene prices. It reflects monthly dynamics and the monthly weighted price level (rubles per tonne, including VAT, excluding transport) at four key styrene production sites in the European part of Russia, excluding prices at remote Siberian plants. The indicator is calculated based on prices of exchange contracts concluded in the Oil Products section. Values are determined monthly, and a cumulative set of preliminary monthly data is also compiled. The calculation approach was discussed with market participants and approved by the Expert Council on Oil Product Indices in July. Final values and the methodology are available on the official Petersburg Exchange website.
In addition to the site, current values will be published on SPX, and SPX will also provide retrospective values of the indicators from March 2025. Source
