From January through September 2026, the Petersburg Exchange reported volumes of 6.3 thousand tonnes of HDPE, 14.3 thousand tonnes of polypropylene, and 6.4 thousand tonnes of polystyrene, according to Georgiy Yukhan at the POLIMERUM 2026 forum.
The Exchange noted that, through the end of 2026, visitors to the 'Small Wholesale' segment in the 'Petrochemical Products' section have access without a participation fee. The exchange infrastructure is prepared to launch new instruments, with flexible lot sizing, units of measurement, and additional transportation requirements planned.
