At the POLIMERUM 2026 forum, Valeria Samarina announced the launch of price indicators for polypropylene by processing segment, enabling a more detailed market picture and the use of these indicators in formula-based pricing.
As of October 7, 2026, the polypropylene price indicator for raffia-grade polymer (SRRPD_MOS_PPHRA) stood at 164,250 RUB/ton, up 2.0% from September 30. The most expensive grades—block and random copolymers—showed higher gains: the price indicator for injection-mold random copolymer (SRRPD_MOS_PPRIM) reached 184,000 RUB/ton (+2.2%), and the injection-mold block copolymer (SRRPD_MOS_PPBIM) 179,000 RUB/ton (+2.3%). The gap between the cheapest and most expensive grades widened to about 20,000 RUB/ton.
Going forward, there are plans to expand the range of polling indicators for oil and gas chemical products. In conclusion, Samarina recalled that the National Exchange Price Agency issues polymer market reviews on a weekly basis. Materials are distributed via the SPX information-analytical platform; to subscribe, please email sales@spimex.com.
