According to Sergey Trofimenko, Managing Director of SPIMEX for Gas and Electricity Markets: 'BP KS Parabel has become a new driver of exchange gas trading, since all contracts at this balancing point are concluded on the basis of non-address bids at market prices. The variety and accessibility of exchange instruments enable participants to form an optimal package of contracts, acquiring gas with delivery horizons for the next month as well as shorter terms (for day and weekend/holiday days). The share of shorter contracts in the gas purchase portfolio exceeds 61%.'
