In the Petersburg Exchange's Metals and Alloys section, the first sale of primary aluminum was concluded. The contract covered 20 tonnes of aluminum grade A7E (small ingot up to 22 kg) with road pickup and a delivery basis in Volgograd.
The selling price was 360,200 rubles per tonne, VAT included. On the day of the deal, a new edition of the Exchange commodity specification for the Metals and Alloys section took effect, including aluminum grades A7 and A7E, also in aluminium drawing stock packaging.
The delivery bases were expanded: road pickup is available at locations in Siberia (Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Sayano-Shushensk, Tayset, Shelekhov), in Volgograd, Kaluga and Rostov-on-Don; rail pickup and the ‘franco-vagon station of dispatch’ are now available at stations in Siberia and on the Privolzhskaya Railway.
