The Association of Commodity and Futures Exchanges (ATB), created at the initiative of the Saint Petersburg Exchange, has developed a virtual digital platform for BRICS+ market interaction. The platform aims to reduce barriers and costs of cross-border trade, create a reliable trust environment among member-country companies, and organize the calculation of international price indicators.

It serves as a single virtual hub: exchange participants will be able to post export or import requests with detailed descriptions of volumes and delivery terms and receive counteroffers. The system will provide a transparent centralized database of goods, ensure transaction and payment security, and facilitate the work of brokers and their clients.

“We are ready to turn our Association into a real driver of international trade. The new platform is more than just a digital tool. It represents a future of barrier-free, reliable, and efficient trade within BRICS+,” said Samir Dadashov. Priority is given to safety, sovereignty, and regulatory compliance. This is achieved through an intelligent gateway model: participants will access the global platform exclusively through their national exchanges and accredited brokers. The national exchange retains responsibility for participant verification in accordance with its laws and rules.

The platform’s development unfolds in three stages: first, the rules and tariffs are finalized, the operator is appointed, and pilot transactions are conducted; second, a segment for one-off trades will be launched, including pilot auctions for two to three groups of goods; the third stage will standardize liquid goods and introduce spot trading and forward contracts. The ATB was established in February 2026, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2025. Today ATB brings together eight leading exchanges from seven countries: Belarus, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, and Uzbekistan.
