The International Association of Commodity and Futures Exchanges (ATB) and Titan Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement aimed at long‑term partnership and the development of exchange trading of titanium products on partner‑country exchange platforms. The document was signed by ATB Executive Director Samir Dadashov and Titan Association General Director Andrey Alexandrov.

The key objective of the agreement is to create conditions for promoting domestic producers’ products through partner exchanges. The parties intend to jointly work on creating and developing an exchange market for titanium products, where appropriate trading instruments can be applied. ATB will ensure access for Titan Association members to trading venues, include titanium in the list of exchange commodities, and coordinate exchange activities. Titan Association will assist in attracting producers, processors and consumers to exchange trading, providing expert conclusions and technical specifications for the formation of exchange product specifications. The parties plan to develop and implement unified standards for titanium supply contracts and to form a joint normative‑methodological framework for trading, which should standardize quality requirements, acceptance rules and delivery terms for all market participants.

Signing the agreement with Titan Association is an important step in developing exchange trading of metals and ore. Developing cooperation with leading industry organizations is a key component of ATB's activity. We see strong potential in forming a transparent titanium market and are prepared to provide our infrastructural and methodological capabilities to address this task, said ATB Executive Director Samir Dadashov. Andrey Alexandrov, Titan Association General Director, stated: “Cooperation with ATB opens access to exchange mechanisms for titanium market participants, facilitating access to new markets. We are ready to share our expertise to help create high‑quality exchange standards.” For context: ATB was established in 2026 on the initiative of the Saint Petersburg Exchange and today unites eight leading exchanges from seven countries: Belarus, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Russia and Uzbekistan. Titan Association was formed in 1991 by leading titanium producers and industry institutes and focuses on coordinating the industry’s quality policy and R&D efforts.
